Kumeroa-Hopelands School

It was a long time coming for pupils and staff but their new 180m2 building was worth the wait.

The school had to wait for the existing classrooms to be removed due to them being cold and dilapidated, the design process to be done, and then for PRB to move in and complete the two stage build, but seeing what they have now is fantastic.

After starting the project just after the Gorge was blocked by the slips, PRB had to deal with the change in direction over the Saddle Road and of course multiple weather disruptions but we pulled it together.

Their new building joins two existing buildings together and gives them two new classrooms, a shared space in the middle, two breakout rooms and a large expansive covered decking area.

The use of bright colours throughout the interior and exterior makes it a great place for kids to learn.

Being a close knit community just North East of Woodville, Kumeroa-Hopelands School takes pride in all that they have and we know they will enjoy it for a long time to come.
